An afternoon with your hands in clay. A present that won't end up in a drawer. A birthday that isn't the usual dinner. You can do all of this in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, but it's worth starting from the real situation: today there are only a few open dates on Handsome in the province. This guide tells you where to find what you can actually book, what you can ask for as a tailor-made experience and how payment works.

Two things can help. If you search for a town where there's nothing yet, the page tells you how many workshops with open dates there are in the rest of the province, and one click shows them. And if a workshop you like has no dates, you can leave your email on its page to be told when a new one comes out.

Who it's for
As a couple. Book two places on the same date: one booking is enough. Each workshop's page says what each of you takes home.
With friends or for a birthday. If there are only a few of you and there are places left, book together. If there are more of you, or you want the studio to yourselves, request a private event. In the form you choose the occasion: birthday, stag or hen party, anniversary, family session, school or educational group, or something else.
For young people. When a workshop also suits younger participants, the page says so and, if the Maker has entered it, shows the age range.
As a gift. The gift card is valid for 12 months on any workshop on the platform. It's useful when you don't know which date suits the person receiving it. You'll find more ideas in giving an artisan workshop as a gift.
For a company. For team building there's a request reserved for companies: we reply within 24 hours and send the proposal within 2 working days, with no commitment. Formats, seasons and costs are explained in the team building guide for Pesaro and Urbino.
When the right date isn't there: a tailor-made request
You don't have to wait for the right date to come out. You can ask for a tailor-made experience in two ways.
From a workshop page. Further down the page there's the box “Are you a group? Let's tailor this experience for you”. Write how many of you there are, the occasion, possible dates and the time of day: Handsome arranges it with that Maker.
From the group form. If you don't have a studio in mind yet, fill in the private event request. It asks for the occasion, how many of you there are (from 1 to 30), at least two possible dates, the time of day, what you're curious about and whether you already have a place to do it. The request is free and doesn't commit you to anything. You get a reply within 24 working hours.
To choose the Maker, Handsome looks first at the craft you asked for and then at distance: say in your request which craft you're interested in.
If you like the proposal, you confirm it by paying a deposit online. You give the rest to the Maker on the day of the event.
How booking works, step by step
- Choose the workshop and the date. The price is per person and all-inclusive: nothing is added at checkout.
- Pay the deposit online. It's €10 per place for group workshops and €25 per session for private sessions, by card through Stripe.
- Pay the rest to the Maker on the day of the workshop. The page tells you how much.
- If your plans change. For group workshops you get the whole deposit back if you cancel at least 3 days before. After that it isn't refunded. For private sessions the refund is full up to 7 days before. If the Maker cancels, you get everything back.
- After the workshop. Reviews can only be left by people who had a confirmed booking, once the workshop is over.
The “CNA Member” badge
Since October 2026 Handsome has been working with CNA Pesaro e Urbino to bring members' workshops onto the platform. When an artisan states in their profile that they're a member, the Handsome team checks. Only after verification does the “CNA Member” badge appear on their profile. Verified members' workshops with open dates are gathered on the CNA Pesaro e Urbino page. This article explains how the collaboration works.

- How much do I pay online to book a workshop in the province of Pesaro and Urbino?
- Only the deposit: €10 per place for group workshops and €25 per session for private sessions. It's a fixed amount, the same for every workshop: the Maker doesn't set it. You pay the rest to the Maker on the day of the workshop. The price on the page is already all-inclusive.
- Can I cancel my booking?
- Yes. For group workshops you get the whole deposit back if you cancel at least 3 days before. After that it isn't refunded. For private sessions the refund is full up to 7 days before. If the Maker cancels the workshop, including when the minimum number of participants isn't reached, you get the whole deposit back.

- Fill in the private event request: it covers groups of up to 30 people and asks for at least two possible dates. The request is free and doesn't commit you to anything. You get a reply within 24 working hours. If you accept the proposal, you pay the deposit online and the rest to the Maker on the day of the party.
- Do I need experience to take a workshop?
- Each workshop page shows the level: “For everyone”, “From scratch” or “Some practice”. With “From scratch” you don't need to have ever tried.
- Can I give a workshop as a gift?
- Yes, with the gift card. It's valid for 12 months on any workshop on the platform. The person who receives it picks the date that suits them within those 12 months, even in another town.
