What is Handsome
Handsome is where hobbyist artisans publish their creative workshops and manage the bookings: pottery, macrame, bookbinding, anything made by hand. We handle the structured booking flow end-to-end — from the moment a customer chooses a date to the receipt after the event — so the Maker can focus on the bench, not on coordinating WhatsApp messages.
We are not a generic booking tool repurposed for Makers. We are not a marketplace taking commissions on your work. We are a platform designed in conversation with Italian Maker masters, with one mission: make managing workshop bookings something you stop worrying about.

Your ceramic workshop costs €60, with a €10 deposit online and €50 on the day. The customer pays exactly €10 at checkout: nothing is added on top, and that €10 lands on your Stripe account in full — we invoice you nothing.

Is Handsome really free for Makers?+
Handsome takes no commission on the workshop price: the payment lands directly on your Stripe account. There is no platform line at all: the only cost is the standard Stripe fee on the online payment.
What does Handsome do?+
Handsome handles workshop bookings end-to-end: shared calendar, deposit collection, automatic receipts, multilingual translation IT/EN, an automatic reminder 3 days before the event, post-event review collection.
Do I need a P.IVA (VAT number) to use Handsome?+
No. There are two tiers: Apprentice (no P.IVA, max €5,000/year occasional service) and Maker (with P.IVA, no limits, access to private + B2B workshops).
How is Handsome different from WhatsApp Business?+
WhatsApp handles chat. Handsome handles structured booking flow: real-time calendar, blocked double bookings, automatic deposit, fiscal receipts, foreign customers. You can use both.
How long does setup take?+
