CNA Pesaro e Urbino and Handsome have started a free collaboration that runs for one year, from October 2026 to September 2027. The aim is to help members who run a studio open it to the public, with workshops people book online. There are three tools: a dedicated page, a code for members and a badge on the profile. Here is what changes for studio owners, what changes for anyone looking for a workshop in the province, and how to sign up.

In short: joining Handsome is free and Handsome takes no commission on workshops. That applies to everyone, members or not. With the code CNAPESARO, anyone who signs up as a Maker, meaning with a VAT number, gets 2 months of Pro free. Workshops with open dates from verified members appear on the CNA Pesaro e Urbino × Handsome page.

What the collaboration includes

Handsome is a marketplace of creative workshops run by artisans: ceramics, cooking, wood, textiles, jewellery and other crafts. Participants book a place online, step into the studio and work with their hands next to someone who practises that craft.

The collaboration is free, and members pay nothing to sign up. It lasts one year, and in September 2027 both sides will take stock together. Free sign-up and zero commission apply to everyone. On top of that, members get three things:

  • the CNAPESARO code, worth 2 months of Pro free for anyone who signs up as a Maker with a VAT number;
  • the “CNA Member” badge on the public profile, once the Handsome team has verified membership;
  • a dedicated page, cna-pesaro, which gathers the workshops with open dates from verified members.

One thing should be clear from the start: there is no such thing as a “CNA workshop”. The workshop belongs to the Maker, with their name, their price and their rules. It takes place in their studio or in a venue they choose, not at the association's offices. CNA brings the collaboration to its members; Handsome provides the shop window and the booking tools.

What changes for a member with a studio

Signing up and getting approved

You sign up for free from the sign-up page. The first choice is your role:

  • Maker, if you have a VAT number;
  • Apprentice, if you don't and you work on an occasional basis (prestazione occasionale).

If you're not sure which one fits, this guide compares the two profiles.

Once you've signed up, the team reviews your profile within 24-48 working hours and emails you when it's approved. Meanwhile you can polish your profile and photos and prepare your first workshop as a draft.

To publish you need at least four photos of the workshop, a future date in the calendar, a connected Stripe account and complete tax details. For a Maker that means a verified VAT number; for an Apprentice, a tax code and acceptance of the occasional-work terms. Until everything is in place, the listing stays in draft. The minimum price is €15 per person. The full list is in what you need to sign up.

How you get paid

You set the price, per person, and it's the final price: people who book find nothing added on top.

  • Online, the customer pays only a fixed deposit: €10 per person for group workshops, €25 per session for private ones. The deposit is already included in the price.
  • The deposit goes straight to your Stripe account. It stays on your balance until about 5 days after the workshop, then the payout to your bank starts.
  • The customer pays you the rest on the day of the workshop.

An example: with an €80-per-person workshop, the customer pays €10 online and €70 on the day, on site.

Handsome takes no commission on workshops, as for every Maker. On the online deposit, only Stripe's payment fees apply. The Stripe guide for artisans explains how to connect your account.

The CNAPESARO code: 2 months of Pro

The code is for anyone who signs up as a Maker with a VAT number. You use it at two moments:

  1. When you sign up, type it in the “Association / partner code (optional)” field. There it's only recorded: Pro doesn't start yet.
  2. After approval, open the Pro section of your dashboard, then “Compare with Free, codes and Handpoints”, and press “Redeem”. If you entered the code when you signed up, it's already in the field. Otherwise, type it there.

Redeem it before starting the 30-day free trial: once Pro is active, trial included, the code can't be used. Each Maker can redeem only one association code.

You don't need a card to activate the 2 months. A week before they end you get a reminder email. If you haven't added a card or a SEPA mandate, Pro switches off and you go back to the free plan, with no charge. If you have, Pro continues at €9.90 a month. Alternatively there's the annual plan at €95, which also includes a one-hour call with the founder.

What Pro gives you, in practice:

  • when two workshops are equally relevant to a search, yours comes first;
  • a product shop with no limit on items (without Pro you can publish 5);
  • an email to people who leave their details but don't complete the booking;
  • the Maker Pro badge on your cards and profile;
  • priority on private events, when craft and area are equal;
  • statistics with CSV export, and the Social Kit, with carousels and stories ready to post;
  • the studio calculators and a PDF poster with your profile's QR code, to print for your shop.

Even without Pro, the calendar, booking management, profile, reviews, chat with customers and the promotion kit stay free.

The “CNA Member” badge

In your profile, under “Associazione di categoria” (trade association), choose CNA. The membership card number is optional. Also check that the province in your profile is Pesaro e Urbino. The badge doesn't appear on its own: it appears once the Handsome team has verified your membership. On the public profile it reads “CNA Member”. On a computer, hovering over the badge also shows the branch: CNA Pesaro e Urbino. Apprentices who are members get it too.

If you don't have a VAT number

You can sign up as an Apprentice, with different rules:

  • up to 5 published workshops per calendar year;
  • group workshops only: no private sessions, private events or company requests;
  • no product sales.

The CNAPESARO code doesn't apply to Apprentices. There is, however, a Pro designed for them: €49 once for 12 months, with no automatic renewal.

If you'd rather start from the workshop itself, meaning the gesture to teach, the length and the price, the guide from studio to experience takes them one at a time, with CNA members in mind.

What changes for people looking for an experience in the province

For people who live in the province or are there on holiday, the collaboration adds one more place to find members' studios. The cna-pesaro page shows workshops with open dates from verified members. It fills up as members sign up and get verified. All workshops can also be searched by town: Pesaro, Urbino, Fano.

How a booking works:

  • the price you see is per person and all-inclusive;
  • online you pay only the deposit, €10 per person, and you pay the rest to the Maker on the day of the workshop;
  • if you cancel at least 3 days before, you get the whole deposit back; for a private session the limit is 7 days (the full rules are on the cancellations page);
  • if the Maker cancels, you get a full refund;
  • reviews can only be left by people who booked and took part, once the workshop is over;
  • the whole site works in Italian and English, handy if you're bringing friends or guests from abroad.

For a present there's the gift card, valid for 12 months. For a birthday, a group of friends or an outing with colleagues there's the private events form. Handsome collects the request and offers it to suitable Makers, chosen first by craft and then by distance. Companies have their own page, companies, with a reply within 24 hours and a proposal within 2 working days. The team building guide for Pesaro and Urbino explains how an event like this is organised.

Visitors who want to combine studios and history in a single trip will find some ideas in the weekend in Urbino. The guide for people booking, town by town, is workshops in Pesaro and Urbino.

Why it makes sense for an association

For a trade association, two questions matter: what members gain, and how much work it asks of the association. In this case:

  • It's free. The collaboration is free and members pay nothing to sign up.
  • Members do it themselves. Sign-up is online, and the Handsome team handles approvals and checks. The association doesn't have to run another portal.
  • There's something to show. The cna-pesaro page is a link to share in newsletters or on social media, and it fills up with members' workshops as they are verified.
  • Membership shows. The “CNA Member” badge tells people booking that whoever runs that studio is a CNA member.
  • One more channel to companies. Requests for private events and team building that reach Handsome are offered to suitable Makers with a VAT number, chosen by craft and distance.

How to sign up, in four steps

  1. Create your account from the sign-up page. If you have a VAT number, choose Maker and type CNAPESARO in the code field.
  2. Complete your profile. Set the province of Pesaro e Urbino and, under “Associazione di categoria”, choose CNA.
  3. Connect Stripe and prepare your first workshop. You decide dates, places and price. While you wait for approval, keep it as a draft.
  4. After approval, redeem the 2 months of Pro from the Pro section and publish.

After every publication you'll find the promotion kit: the link to the workshop and the link to your profile, ready to copy, plus two ready-made texts, one for your Instagram bio and one for stories.

All of it, with the code clearly in view, is summed up on the CNA Pesaro e Urbino × Handsome page.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to be a CNA member to join Handsome?
No. Sign-up is open to all artisans and it's free. For verified members, the collaboration adds the “CNA Member” badge on the profile and a place on the dedicated page. For anyone who signs up as a Maker with a VAT number, the CNAPESARO code gives 2 months of Pro.
Does the CNAPESARO code work without a VAT number?
No. It can only be redeemed with the Maker role, which requires a VAT number. Anyone without one signs up as an Apprentice: they can publish up to 5 group workshops per calendar year and have their own Pro at €49 for 12 months, with no automatic renewal.
Do I pay anything when the 2 months of Pro end?
Only if you've added a card or a SEPA mandate: in that case Pro continues at €9.90 a month. Without a payment method, Pro switches off and you go back to the free plan, with no charge. A week before it ends you get a reminder email.
How do my workshops appear on the CNA Pesaro e Urbino page?
Three things are needed: Pesaro e Urbino as the province in your profile, CNA chosen under “Associazione di categoria”, and verification by the Handsome team. After verification, the page shows your published workshops that have at least one open future date.
How much does Handsome keep on a workshop?
Nothing: Handsome takes no commission on workshops. The deposit paid online goes to the Maker's Stripe account, and only Stripe's payment fees apply to that part. The Maker collects the rest on the day of the workshop.
Where do members' workshops take place?
In the Maker's studio or in a venue they choose, never at CNA's offices. The town and the dates are shown on each workshop's page.
