A B2B team building request can look like a huge opportunity: 20 attendees, €60-80 per person budget, €1,200-1,600 gross revenue in a single day. But if you handle it directly with the company, you quickly discover the real work starts after: contracts to sign, the company's VAT to verify, electronic invoice, 60-90 day payment terms, possible penalties, HR paperwork for each employee. On Handsome we handle that part. You only run the workshop.
What Handsome does with a B2B request
- Receives the brief from the company (number of attendees, city, budget, date, event objective).
- Verifies the customer: active VAT, legal name, contact with business email.
- Proposes 1-3 compatible Maker artisans (you are among them if you have B2B workshops enabled).
- Negotiates final price, dates, extras (lunch, transfer, additional materials).
- Issues the contract and invoice — the company pays Handsome.
- You receive the final confirmation with all logistical details 7-14 days in advance.
- You run the workshop. Handsome pays you within 7 net days from the event date.
What you no longer have to do
- Chase the company's procurement department for contract signing.
- Wait 60-90 days for payment (Handsome advances within 7 net days).
- Issue complicated electronic invoices (Handsome handles invoicing to the company).
- Manage negotiations on discounts, extra attendees, last-minute date changes.
- Send reminders, info materials, attendee lists for HR.
- Chase debts if the company pays late.
How much does the artisan earn on B2B
On Handsome B2B pricing is transparent: you receive a net price per attendee (e.g. €55) and you know exactly how much you'll get before accepting. Example: pottery workshop for 18 people at €55 net = €990 on your account, paid within 7 days of the event, no invoices to issue to the company (Handsome does it).
Why funneling everything through Handsome is also legally smart
Italian companies require for every supplier: DURC certification, chamber-of-commerce reports, workplace safety certifications (for events >10 people), professional liability insurance, GDPR privacy paperwork for attendees. Handsome has these requirements centralized for the entire platform. If you let a company contact you directly, they will ask all of these from you — and without structured paperwork it becomes complicated.
How to enable B2B workshops on your profile
- You must be a verified Maker (active VAT).
- Mark "Available for corporate B2B" in your profile (toggle in dashboard /artigiano/dashboard/profilo).
- Set the maximum number of attendees you can manage (e.g. 20).
- Specify any extras you can offer: partner catering, transfer, longer sessions.
- Requests arrive via email + notification in the B2B dashboard (/artigiano/dashboard/b2b).
Domande frequenti
- Can I accept a B2B request outside of Handsome?
- Technically yes, but you lose all administrative, legal and contractual coverage. Also, if the company reached you via your Handsome profile, the terms of use require the transaction to go through the platform.
- How long does it take to receive the B2B payment?
- 7 net days from the event date, on the linked Stripe account. Faster than any standard Italian corporate client (60-90 days).
- Can I decline a B2B request that Handsome proposes?
- Yes, always. You have 24h to accept or decline. No penalties. If you decline, the company is redirected to another Maker.
- Does Handsome also handle catering and logistics?
- Yes if requested by the company. We have partners for catering, transfer, alternative venues. You declare what you can offer in your profile, we coordinate the rest.
