About this workshop
Un’occasione per scoprire una delle tecniche di decorazione ceramica più affascinanti di tutte. La tecnica di cottura Raku ci permette di ottenere effetti incredibili e completamente diversi da ogni altro tipo di cottura. Giocando con fiamme, fumo e ossidi, ogni opera si colorerà in maniera totalmente differente una dall’altra, creando sfumature ed effetti irridescenti meravigliosi. Nel primo incontro il 19 settembre, modelleremo le opere e il corso avrà una durata di circa 2h. Nel secondo incontro il 26 settembre, le decoreremo e cuoceremo e la preparazione e lavorazione di tutto ci richiederà circa 4h. Sarà necessario partecipare ad entrambe gli incontri.

Vedrai come si prepara una cottura Raku, quali materiali utilizzare per la decorazione e come ottenere alcuni effetti rispetto ad altri, cercando di ottenere un risultato più ripetibile e meno casuale.
