Take a break, slow down, and create something alive with your own hands. At Be Kind in Cattolica, you'll be welcomed to a special workshop dedicated to creating a Terrarium—a miniature natural ecosystem enclosed in a glass container.
Guided by Danilo, you'll discover how to combine plants, soil, and natural materials to build your own personal terrarium. Throughout the workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of designing, assembling, and caring for your miniature green world so it can thrive over time. This experience is perfect for anyone who loves nature, creativity, and the joy of slowing down while sharing meaningful moments with others.

How it goes
1Welcome15 min
You arrive, welcome drink and apron. Danilo explains what a terrarium is and what you'll be building.
2The layers25 min
You start from the bottom: drainage, soil and natural materials, each in its place. This is the base the little ecosystem stands on.
3The plants25 min
You choose the plants and arrange them inside the glass: which ones sit well together, how to place them, where to leave room.
4Care and hydroponics15 min
Last part with Danilo: how to keep the terrarium alive over time, plus a word on hydroponics. Then you take it home.
5The Be Kind brunch30 min
The Be Kind brunch runs alongside the workshop: pancakes, cakes, avo toast, coffee and juices. Vegan and gluten-free options on request.
